This fungus was grown from a mold growing on a piece of rye bread. It is has a blue/green color on the top, and a white/yellow color on the bottom. In the span of a week, it covered the entire plate in splotchy circular colonies. In the second week now, many of the colonies are beginning to form pointed tips at the center (future penicilli?). Given these morphological characteristics, I would identify this mold as Penicillium Chrysogenum.
