This fungi was grown from a sample of healthy persimmon and was plated on PDA media. The fungi appears to have many white stringy mycelia with black tips that grows to the top of the plate, and the growth has taken all over the plate. The bottom of the plate appears more of a cloudy white colour with black specs. This mold looks like Rhizopus stolonifer because of the white stringy mycelia with black spots on top of the strands. This fungi does not appear to have much differences from Rhizopus stolonifer.
