This photo demonstrates a swab of the inside of a shower curtain and a swab of the bathroom floor plated on both CMA and PDA media. As presented by the picture, the left side of the PDA media seems to have a higher amount of growth than CMA, while the right side presents a higher growth in CMA than in PDA. I think CMA is better since the colonies of the fungi are more visible, while they are more clustered as shown in PDA media. Also, that helps in better identifying the fungi.
