For this sample I left the dish open in my backyard for about 1 hour around 5pm in the evening. It is green in colour with a white ring along the outside on both the bottom and top. It also appears to be slightly raised above the media. It is really slow growing and is the only type of its kind on the plate. It looks like a Penicillium based on the colour as these fungi do have the green fading to white on both sides. It does not appear to be spreading as fast as Penicillium usually does. In the examples we have seen in class the fungi is usually spread across the plate and it does so fairly fast but in my plate there is only the one and it has been a couple weeks.
