I found these mushrooms on one of the Camosun bog trails in Vancouver. It was growing on a far-gone decaying log. The cap shape is conchate (sea shell shaped), with an undulating cap margin. The surface is smooth, and the gills are narrowly attached and decurrent. The gills are also subdistant and branching, with even edges. The stem is sessile, meaning it is missing. The ID for these mushrooms is most likely Pleurocybella porrigens, common name Angel’s wings. These have a very distinct white appearance, and the lack of stem and cap shape make them easy to recognize.
