This shows an air sample taken from my shoe closet. The top plate is CMA and bottom is PDA. Both of the media have similar growth mainly of large white fluffy colonies; however, the CMA media has more white, yellow, dark brown, and some red colonies. So, the CMA in this case is able to grow more colonies overall of varying sizes and colours and would be a better media to use.
