This fungi was found living on a tree in Burns Bog. This one has none of the traditional we associate with fungi. It has no observable gills, stem, it does not have the traditional cap or any veil features. It was very colourful and looked like jelly. It is layered with the folds overlaying one another. Based on the guide book to western mushrooms this fungi looks exactly like Tremella mesenterica. They are the same vibrant colour and look very squishy and jelly like.
