Don’t be fooled by that cute muzzle, this Guinea pig is one of the messiest animals you’ll ever meet. Considering how messy my Guinea pigs are, I thought I could get some interesting microbial growth from their woody bedding. I’m not sure how much fungal growth I’ll get, and although I’d like to see some fungal growth for the sake of this lab, I hope there won’t be a lot of it out of concern for my piggies’ health.
