Each plate has a piece of a white flower (left) and a purple flower (right). In this image the CMA is on the left and the PDA is on the right. The growth on the PDA media is considerably more than the growth on the CMA, with little differences in the species present (there is the green species on the left plate, it’s just buried under the white fuzz and is smaller than on the right plate). In this case, the PDA is better due to supporting more growth than the CMA without a noticeable reduction in species present.
