Water sample was taken at a creek that contained alive and dead salmon. The left CMA plate has medium fungal growth and is white in colour. The right PDA plate has larger mycelium growth but has yellow bacteria growing as well. Though the PDA plate has faster growing fungi, I believe that the CMA plate may be better to prevent bacteria growth from interfering as bacteria was not present in the CMA plate.
