These two petri dishes contain dust from my vacuum cleaner following its use. Between the two media, we see a large amount of different cultures growing on the PDA plate (as well as significant growth) versus that of the CMA plate. In general I believe that the PDA plate is a better medium as it is able to grow the same particles while also allowing them to grow to a significant amount.
