I took a swab from the bottom surface of the inside of my bedroom garbage can. I chose this spot because, at first glance it appears quite clear, but I do not clean the garbage bin very often so I was interested to see if anything would grow from it. I suspect there will be little fungal growth because I always use a garbage bag with this bin.
