I found this mushroom at a park in Chilliwack. It was growing next to the walking trail in the soil near trees and dead leaves. It has gills and its cap appears bell-shaped, slightly conical. It is white on the center but has dark brown spots at the edges. The cap appears rugose, striated near the tips and somewhat scalloped. The gills appear adnexed and the stem is long, smooth and central. I think this mushroom could belong to Mycena based on cap and stem features but I think it could also belong to Panaeolus based on its gill features as well as cap and long stem.
