I found this mushroom growing on a tree on a hiking trail. It has a seas-shell shaped cap, with crenate edges, and a silky/sericeous surface. There is no partial veil, or bulb. The gills attachment appears to be adenate and horizontal. The breadth of the gills is narrow. The gills also have average thickness, and are close together. The edges are obtuse/blunt. The stem is sessile. This mushroom is a polypore, but which one I’m not certain; Becasue of the presence of gills and smooth cap shape it also reminds me of angel wings; however it’s not white like angel wings. Overall, I had a hard time identifying this mushroom.
