1) The source is a soil sample from my backyard, the specific patch is the area without the leaves 2) I was curious to see what types of fungi are in the soils of my backyard 3) I would expect to see high fungal growth, since it has lots of dead leaves around it, which I would assume fungal growth has already started to breakdown the leaves.
