This tiny mushroom sprouted from the soil off a forest trail. The conical cap is yellow in the center and striate at the white margins. The cap margin was probably round and unnaturally split. The gills have a broad breadth, even edges, subdistant arrangement and appear to be
attached close to the stipe. The stipe is flexuous and hollow. This mushroom may belong to the Mycena genus, and looks slightly less pale than Mycena flavoalba.
