I found this mushroom at Langley City park. This mushrooms was found in the grass right beside a massive tree in. There was also many small brown mushrooms of the identical species growing beside it.
The cap of this mushroom is a light-brown umbonate shape with an sulcate cap margin that contains grooves. The cap surface is smooth. The gills are: adnate, with a average thickness, with a even breath. The spacing of the gills is sub-distant and the edges are even.
The stem contains a doesn’t contain a partial veil. It contains a central stem that has a equal shape. The stem has a longitudinally striated pattern. I couldn’t see the bulb of the stem. I think this mushroom could be some type of Inocybe species based on its small rounded tip on the cap and due to its small-medium size. The species that were growing right beside it had a plane shape, which could indicate that this specific mushroom I took pictures of is younger Inocybe species compared to the ones around it.
