I found this gilled mushroom growing in a park on wet soil, covered with wood chips and other organic matter. The cap has a bell shape (campanulate), crenate cap margin, and a virgate cap surface. Its gills appear to be adnexed, ventricose, of average thickness, spaced subdistantly, with even edges. The stem is located centrally and is flexuous with a punctate surface. The bulb could not be seen. From the cap shape and colour, structure of the gills, and stem features, this mushroom is most likely Mycena galopus.
