This is a shelf fungus found on a tree stump in a family friend’s backyard in Squamish, BC. It looks like it has a conchate cap shape, with a zonate cap surface. The cap margin appears to be even. It appears to have a sessile stem. This mushroom looks similar to turkey tail, however it also seemed to be a bit thicker than the photos of turkey tail I have seen.
