I really wanted to try growing mold from a water sample and thought that the Scott Creek river water would be interesting to test. I’m uncertain about how much mold growth I’ll see since the water is cold and motile, but just recently some salmon had bred there (you can still see their carcasses) and I was hoping their decay would help me get at least some spores. If nothing else, I can at least count on seeing bacteria.
