I took a water sample from this puddle by a creek. The creek as of now contains spawning salmon both alive and dead. I chose this sample due to the presence of salmon in the water and was curious what fungi was present. I expect high fungal growth as the water is still, and I believe it was connected to the creek recently due to recent rainfall.
