I found this mushroom at local park, growing on a log. It appears to have gills and a convex cap shape. Its gills are adnate, cap is smooth and somewhat even, and the stem is central, smooth, and flexuous. The cap has a golden brown spot at the top with white edges. I think this mushroom belongs to Hypholoma based on its similar features and tendency to grow on logs.
