1) This is taken from a grocery store in Tainan (if this species is a part of the Hypsizygus, then it can be assumed that it is most likely to be found growing on woods)
2) Its cap shape is convex. Margin is regular, the surface seems silky, partial veil could not be observed, the gills are decurrent short, broad breadth, thick subdistant with crenate edges. Its stems are short and central with terete shape, its bulb and volvas are marginate-depressed. The surface seems scabby
3) Looks most like Hypsizygus tessellatus, except the stem is brownish instead of bleach white, and the stem found on the internet doesn’t seem as scrabby as it does in this photo.
