1) Found in Tainan evening market. (if it is Pleurotus eryngii, it means it is possible that this species can grow on plant roots and grounds.)
2) The cap shape looks like a depressed saucer, with uneven margins. The surface is smooth, and its partial veil is fibrillose. Its gills are unicate narrow subdistance with frimbriate edges. The stems are eccentric with clavate shape with a fusiform bulb and volvas. Its surface is longitudinally striated.
3) It looks most like Pleurotus eryngii, the differences is that the cap shown in the photo is smaller than the examples from the internet. It could be that it is not yet matured which explains the smaller cap sizes on all of it in the photo.
