The sample that was plated on both Petri dishes was a diluted water sample from a puddle I found while out on a walk. The top photo was the CMA plate which had some growth, and the bottom plate was PDA and it had much more growth that included multiple kinds of fungi. The better media was the PDA plate which allowed rapid growth along with nutrients to allow multiple species of fungi to grow.
