This growth is from a tomato sample. The tomato had started to brown and was getting soft. The mold that’s growing is growing in an outwards direction, almost like it’s fraying. It’s very fuzzy growth with darker centres in some of it. It’s whitish yellow with areas of dark patches. Since the bottom is light yellow and the top is white and kind of fluffy, it looks like it’s possible that it could be Clonostachys rosea. However, the top of Clonostachys rosea is dense and white, whereas my mold does not have a dense white top. It also looks as if it could be Fusarium solani because it has a white fluffy top with a yellow and white bottom. My best educated guess is that this is Fusarium solani.
