A maple leaf was collected from this source (the maple tree). The leaf seems to be both undamaged and healthy. As there is little discolouration in the leaf, the structural integrity of the leaf remains unchanged and the leaf was extracted directly from the source. We should expect to see large fungi growth, as water, oxygen and carbon sources are present in the source.
