On the right is the PDA and the left is the CMA. The lemon peel (white and black colonies) and the moldy carrot (orange and white colonies) was plated here. The PDA colonies look bigger and are much vibrant in color than the CMA colonies. The CMA colonies have not grown as fast as the PDA sample. The PDA is the better media because there is larger growth at a faster rate. Again this photo was taken from the backside because of condensation on the front side.
