Two leaf sample were taken from the same plant. One leaf sample was still attached to the plant, while the other sample was a shed leaf. The PDA (right) plate has much larger growth of white mycelium than the CMA (left) plate. Both plates show that the leaf attached to the plant has more mycelium growth. The PDA plate appears to better as growth was more rapid than the CMA plate.
