These mushrooms were growing on someone’s lawn as I walked by one day (a few of them were overturned already). The cap itself looked to be a convex (for the most part evenly round) with a brown leather-like color. The cap margin is what I would describe as mostly even/regular with a cap surface that appears to be smooth. As for the gill features, this mushroom appears to not really have any (however this may be the case of a younger mushroom or just not the best photo). As for stem features, the stem appears to be located centrally, with all other features being unavailable. If I was to hypothesize the identity of this particular mushroom. I would say it most closely resembles the Cortinarius Cinnamomeus in shape and color.
