I neglected a grapefruit for who knows how long, and I found it all dried up and dusty. There were some black spots forming and wisps of what could be dust or mycelia coming off the peel. The black spot looks like it could be producing the mycelia or it could be a separate fungi. Whichever the case, I am expecting fast growth to appear on my petri dish.
