Pieces of hydrangea and spinach leaves are plated on these media. There is substantial fungal growth from the hydrangea [left], compared to the spinach. There is little growth on either plate from the spinach [right]. PDA [left] looks to be a better medium for the fungus growing form the hydrangea, because there is more present than on the CMA.
