These plates have leaf samples from the same plant. The sample on the left side of the plate is a green leaf that was attached to the plant and on the right side is a brown leaf (was dead) that was attached to the same plant. The left (PDA) plate has similar growth surrounding the samples, a thick white colony which could be bacteria. The right (CMA) plate has similar white growth for the brown (right) leaf but growth of green mold for the green (left) leaf. Due to the green colony growth, the CMA plate is probably the better media for these samples.
