This photo represents a Healthy vs Brown root of Pothos plant presented on both CMA and PDA media. As demonstrated by the picture, CMA shows a higher growth pattern of fungi than PDA (especially the healthy root). It also presents a more diverse colour of fungi. I think that PDA media is better for this sample, since it presents more isolated colonies of the fungi, which is easier for us to visualize it and identify than in CMA (where it is more clustered).
