I isolated tissue from the soft spot on this pumpkin. I chose it because it is damaged tissue that’s starting to get bigger. It’s damaged because its soft and squishy and different from the health hard tissue around it. I expect to see high fungi growth, it sits outside and may get rain on it sometimes, thus it’s in a high traffic area plus its rotting tissue.
