This sample is taken from lemon skin of green colour on the right, and dark brown on the left. The top media is PDA and bottom is CMA. The brown lemon was seen to have similar white fungi growth in both media but was a bit larger and slightly brown on the PDA media. moreover, the green lemon had significant orange/brown and white fungi growth where as the green lemon in CMA had fewer orange coloured fungi growth but similar amounts of white. The cracks seen in the PDA were likely due to placement of the lemon too hard onto the plate. Overall, the PDA media seems to better and have slightly more growth as it has more colours of different fungi and a larger spread.
