This photo represents a sample of a dying (brown) leaf, versus an alive (bright green) leaf on both CMA and PDA media. The photo represents a higher growth on the left side of the PDA media than on the CMA (this is shown as the fungi is more spread out on the plate). The right side of the CMA and PDA plates are very similar in growth pattern. According to the photo, I would say the CMA media is better especially since it formed singular colonies on both side. This allows for a better visualization of the fungi so we can identify it.
