This mushroom was growing on someone’s front lawn. I took this picture early on in this portion of the course while I was walking my dog. As is a running theme with my mushroom photos, I never took a picture of the underside, thus I cannot describe partial veil features, gill features or anything related to the stem. I can, however, describe the color to be similar to a golden brown (marshmallow). The cap shape appeared to be quite plain (flat) and the cap margin are potentially sulcate. As for the cap surface, I would say that it is aolate. If I was to attempt to identify this particular mushroom, I would argue that it is of lepiota Genus (potentially similar to Lepiota rachodes?)
