A piece of healthy and bad garlic tissue from the same bulb was plated. There is fungal growth on both the bad and healthy garlic tissue on the PDA plate but on the CMA plate, there is no fungal growth on the healthy piece of garlic tissue. The PDA plate has more growth than the CMA plate and even fungal growth on the healthy piece of garlic, so PDA is the better medium here.
