The photo shows the backside of the plates. It seems that there was contamination when I plated the two samples. The left sample was from a conifer leaf, and the right sample was from a fig leaf. There is a visible heavy pigmentation of red colour in the PMA plate indicating the fungus prefers the PMA media. The PMA seems to provide a better growth environment and media to isolate the fungus.
