Not sure what the species is, but this evergreen tree by my house appeared healthy and well established. I was able to take some needles and a small cone from a low hanging branch to take my samples from. I think this tree was healthy because it was green, with no discoloration and had full branches of needles. I expect to see a moderate amount of fungi growth because it was a living, healthy tree that could harbor some beneficial or harmless fungi, but didn’t appear to be affected by anything harmful.
