I took a sample of the green soil surrounding this succulent that I accidentally killed.. I have no idea why this plant died, but after it did this green colour appeared on top of the soil so I chose this as one of my samples to see if fungi killed the plant. I suspect there will be quite a bit of fungal growth since there are often fungal species found in soil.
