This is a cream/beige coloured mushroom found off the side of the sidewalk near my house. There were other mushrooms in the same area but there didn’t seem to be any more of this specific mushroom. The cap of this mushroom kind of indents a bit then forms a bump on the center (umbonate), and the surface is rugulose. The cap margin is split and it does not have a partial veil. The mushroom has gills that are attached in an adnate manner, narrow breath, average thickness with even edges. The stem is centered, and it has no bulb or volvas. I couldn’t find a similar mushroom in any of the guides posted, but from what we learned in class, it’s probably a member of the Inocybe genus
