This coral fungus was found growing on a dead log near a creek.
This mushroom is branched, with the branches growing densely together. At the tip of each branch, the mushroom branches further into 2 – 4 small branches. The surface of the stems appear smooth, and their shapes range from straight to wavy. The fungus has a darker pinkish brown colour at the base and a lighter yellow colour at the tips.
Although I can’t determine the exact species, I think this is a member of the Ramaria genus.
