I sampled a leaf piece from this unknown type of plant, it was fairly healthy except for one leaf that was quite brown, I took a small sample from the center of this brown leaf. I thought sampling from this would be interesting as the leaf had discolouration, and I am curious to know if this is due to some sort of fungal infection, or if more fungi are growing on it because it is dead. Since this is browning tissue, I image that more fungi would be growing on it than healthy tissue, but I honestly don’t know what to expect, as I couldn’t see any mycelia on it.
