I took a sample from this bruised and mushy looking apple. I chose this sample because it seems like this apple is on the verge of molding, and I also wanted to see what kind of molds may be present in my kitchen. I expect that this will have high mold growth since it has been decaying for some time and likely already has many molds in/on it.
