1) On the left side of both plates is a small piece of stale bread, on the right side of both plates is a small piece of orange peel.
2) For both sources on the PDA plate, the fungi spread out more than on the CMA plate. The orange peel fungi appears off-white and fuzzy on the PDA plate, but moss green on the CMA plate. The bread fungi is white on the bottom and some black on the top on the PDA plate, but looks like yellow jelly on the CMA plate.
3) In this case, I think the PDA media is better because there was simply more fungi the grew and spread compared to the CMA plate.
