Black bell peper stem(left) and old smelly sponge. PDA(left) showed a more compact and fuzzy growth of one species from the bell peper sample while CMA showed a flatter growth and possibly growth from two species. both showed mainly bacteria growth from the sponge sample.
CMA showed a possible larger range of species growth so I would be better assuming it is growing two species.
