I found this mushroom at Langley City park. This mushrooms was found in the grass right beside a massive tree in. There was also identical mushrooms growing right beside this mushroom in the ground.
The cap of this mushroom is a orange-yellowish convex shape with an eroded cap margin (I think this may have been the case because the mushroom was decaying but the other mushrooms of the same species had an even edge). The cap surface is warty. The gills are: adnate, with a thick thickness, with a broad breath. The spacing of the gills is sub-distant and the edges are eroded (gnawed).
The stem contains a single ring (partial veil). It contains a central stem that has a equal shape. The stem looks smooth but also looks punctate when I zoomed in. I couldn’t see the bulb of the stem since it was torn off the ground. I think this mushroom could be some type of Amanita species based on the warts present on the cap of the mushroom.
