This mushroom was found in a grassy patch beside the sidewalk near my home. It has a conic cap shape, with a seemingly scalloped cap margin. The surface of the cap is smooth, and I don’t see partial veil features, so it’s stellate. The gills seem free, average thickness, and broad. They look close and even-edged. The stem is central and radicating with no bulb that I can see. The surface of the stem seems longitudinally striate. I think it’s Panaeolina foenisecii bases on the gills and cap shape seen on the UBC website https://www.zoology.ubc.ca/~biodiv/mushroom/P_foenisecii.html.
